I believe words are the most powerful marketing tool any company has at its disposal. And I approach every new brief with the question - "How can I sell this product in the most exciting and imaginative way?"
My words have generated response for all sorts of businesses and brands. Here are just a few you might recognise - BT, Sky, British Gas, Plusnet, Vodafone, American Express, DHL, Direct Line, hp, Barclays, Disneyland Paris, GOSH, Marie Curie Cancer Care, St Mungo's, RSPCA and MNDA.
I've worked for agencies big and small, well-known and not so well-known. These include OgilvyOne, Arthur, Oliver, Rooster Punk, Gyro, WCRS, McCann Erickson, Amherst, Rapp, Finex, Digital and Direct, Geronimo, Table 19, AIS, Maverick, Kitcatt Nohr, Pepper and lots more.
I've written for all types of media including: DRTV; radio; press; posters; DM packs; brochures and flyers, right through to online content and ads, emails, short online films, plus Facebook and Twitter posts.
And I've been lucky enough to win a few awards for my work - DMA (Golds, Silvers and Bronzes) EDMA (Bronze) Caples (2nd) and a London Advertising Award.

I
Alan is a very talented copywriter who manages to leap from conceptual brilliance to long copy excellence in the time it takes for the rest of us to sup on a mug of tea. Add to the giddy mix of words and talent that he's a genuine and lovely man, and you start to wonder why you shouldn't dislike him out of sheer jealousy. Brilliant brain, safe hands, nimble fingers and work that can stand up for itself at the dark end of a Bangkok slum.
